2022 Hero Xtreme 160R launched in India at Rs 1.17 lakh

Hero MotoCorp has updated the Xtreme 160R for the 2022 model year with a range of new features, with the motorcycle now being priced at Rs 1,17,148 for the single disc variant, Rs 1,20,498 for the double disc model, and Rs 1,22,338 (all prices, ex-showroom) for the 160R Stealth edition.

The 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R gets a new seat along with a new external grabrail that replaces the integrated unit as seen on the outgoing model. Apart from that, the bike also gets a new gear-position indicator in the instrument cluster. Apart from that, the 160R continues to be offered with an LED headlamp, LED turn indicators, LED tail lamp, and a sporty looking side-slung exhaust.

Powering the motorcycle is the same 163 cc air cooled single-cylinder engine that belts out 15.2 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm, along with 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. Suspension duties are taken care of by a telescopic fork up front, coupled with a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock.

Braking comes from a 276 mm petal disc at the front, along with a 130 mm drum brake at the back on the single-disc variant, and 220 mm petal disc on the dual-disc model with standard single-channel ABS on both. The motorcycle is available in Sports Red, Vibrant Blue and Pearl Silver White paint schemes, along with the 100 Million limited edition that features a dual-tone red and white combination, as well as the all-black Stealth edition.
