Lambretta's new scooters go modern with a retro design: Details of G350, X300 explained
Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Lambretta has unveiled two new scooters at the 2022 Milan Design Week 2022 – the G350 and X300. The new scooters sit atop the Lambretta portfolio as the flagship offerings, and both feature a retro design with a host of modern touches.

Both the G350 and X300 get a hexagonal-shaped LED headlamp at the front, along with sharp creases on the side panels as well as the front mudguard. Powering the G350 is a 330.1 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that puts out 27.5 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm, along with 27 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm.

On the other hand, the X300 draws power from a 275 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit that makes 25.1 PS power and 24.5 Nm torque. Both the scooters get a CVT automatic transmission as standard. The G350 gets 240 mm disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS, while the X300 comes equipped with a 220 mm disc at the front, and a 219 mm disc at the rear.

The features on offer with the G350 include a colour TFT display, full LED lighting, and a USB charger. The X300 misses out on the TFT digital display, but instead, it gets a keyless operation instead. The G350 is being offered in three colours – White with Orange seat, Red with Dark Red seat and Black with Orange Seat; while the X300 is available in Silver, Green, White, and Black – all with a Dark Green seat.
