New Delhi: Ducati has announced the launch of the top-spec Scrambler 800 Urban Motard in India, priced at INR 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new model is powered by the 803 cc, L-twin engine producing 73 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 66.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,750 rpm. It has a dry weight of 180 kg.

With this launch, Ducati has expanded its Scrambler 800 line-up which included the Icon, Icon Dark, Nightshift, and Desert Sled.

The company’s entry-level model in the Scrambler range is the Icon Dark, priced at INR 8.38 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Urban Motard is the most expensive.

The original livery of the bike is inspired by the world of street art and metropolitan graffiti, and it can’t go unnoticed thanks to its unmatched style and sporty character. The Scrambler Urban Motard is one distinctive machine in the Scrambler line up and we are happy to introduce it to our riding community!”

The bike features a new and original livery for the Urban Motard, combining the Star White Silk and Ducati GP ’19 Red color.

The motorcycle is powered by a 110cc engine with a power output of 9 BHP at 7500 rpm and torque on demand of 9.79 NM at 5000 rpm. It comes with the patented i3S technology for better fuel efficiency, the company said.

The latest addition to the Pulsar range is based on the same platform as the N250, and also shares styling elements with the quarter-litre motorcycle.
