HMSI begins deliveries of CB300F mid-size motorcycle from Vithalapur, Gujarat plant

New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) on Monday said it has commenced dispatches of the mid-size motorcycle CB300F from its factory at Vithalapur in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, across India.

The roll out of the newly-launched motorcycle was celebrated by conducting a special line off ceremony, the two wheeler maker said.

The CB300F will be manufactured on a special line designated for mid-size motorcycles which would cater to both domestic and export demand while the main manufacturing lines would continue to cater to the scooter demand.

Honda’s Vithalapur plant is spread across 250 acres. Currently, the company manufactures Activa (110cc & 125cc), Dio and Grazia at this plant along with the newly-introduced CB300F. Launched on August 8 this year, the motorcycle is HMSI’s fourth model in the 300-500cc segment and comes with a 293cc oil-cooled 4-Valve SOHC engine along with other features.

The model is available in three colour options of Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Mat Marvel blue Metallic and Sports Red across two variants – Deluxe & Deluxe Pro and is priced attractively starting from INR 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
