Royal Enfield has launched the new Classic 350 and Meteor 350 motorcycles in Malaysia. The brand aims to expand its reach overseas with these highest-selling models in the Indian market.

The RE Classic 350 is priced at RM23,500 (INR 4.14 lakh) and the RE Meteor 350 retails at RM24,500 (INR 4.32 lakh) in Malaysia. These bikes cost a premium of INR 2 lakh over their India pricing. Both the bikes are available in three variants.

The RE Classic 350 and Meteor 350 motorcycles sold in Malaysia are exactly the same as the ones sold in India. The company will export these motorcycles from its manufacturing plants in India.

Royal Enfield had introduced the Meteor 350 in the year 2020, while the new-gen Classic 350 was launched in 2021. Built on the RE’s J-platform, the Classic 350 and Meteor 350 get power from a 349cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.2 hp power and 27 Nm torque. A 5-speed transmission is on offer.

Standard equipment include a semi-digital instrument cluster and tripper navigation. Some key highlights of the Classic 350 are dual-channel ABS, front disc brake, rear drum brake and tubeless tyres amongst others. The bike has a kerb weight of 195 kg.

Coming to the Indian market, the brand has introduced the new Scram 411 motorcycle at a starting price of INR 2.18 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, the brand is working to launch six motorcycles in the Indian market, including new Classic 350, Hunter 350, new Bullet 350, Shotgun 650, Super Meteor 650 and Himalayan 450 by 2023.
