myenergi, pioneer of the world’s first eco-smart electric vehicle charging device, has been listed in The Sunday Times 100, the definitive annual list of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies.

Supported by Barclays Private Bank and DHL Express, the league table takes on the baton from The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 series, which celebrated the country’s leading entrepreneurs for 24 years. myenergi came in at nine, having experienced revenue growth of more than 617% since 2019.

Since the business was founded in 2016, myenergi has quickly become renowned as one of the world’s fastest-growing eco tech firms. Best known for zappi, the first ever charger for electric vehicles capable of using 100% renewable energy, the company helps homeowners and businesses across the globe to reduce grid reliance and take control of their energy use.

“When we founded myenergi, the dream was simple – create a positive impact, push the boundaries of possibility and change the world through pioneering green technologies,” said Jordan Brompton, Co-founder & CMO of myenergi.

“We started with nothing, apart from a few good ideas and a serious passion for change – today, we’re widely considered one of the sector’s fastest-growing companies.”

Growing from a team of two to staff numbers in excess of 350, myenergi has expanded rapidly, opening subsidiaries in Germany, Ireland, Australia and the Netherlands along the way. The Stallingborough-based company recently shipped its 300,000th unit and has ambitious plans for continued global growth.

“It’s amazing to think that – just a few years ago – we were building first-generation zappi units in a countryside workshop, shipping them to customers via our local Post Office. Today, our state-of-the-art production facilities produce thousands of products every week, with happy customers all over the globe,” Brompton continued.

“Having our journey recognised with such a prestigious accolade is a tribute to the whole team – a true reflection of our dynamism, passion, enthusiasm and how far we’ve come in such a short amount of time.”
