To celebrate World EV Day on 9th September, Zap-Map is offering users the chance to win a month of free charging. From 9–30th September inclusive, every instance of a Zap-Pay charge will go into a prize draw.

This means the more times users pay for charging with Zap-Pay from World EV Day until the end of September, the more likely they are to win.

A single-app payment service that uses a credit or debit card to pay for charging, Zap-Pay avoids the hassle of using different payment methods across all the various networks. With over 3,000 chargers up and down the country Zap-Pay enabled, the cross-network payment service covers ultra-rapid chargers for longer journeys, through to destination charging points, and slower lamppost chargers on residential streets.

Zap-Pay launch partner Osprey, ESB Energy and char.gy have been joined in recent months by nationwide charging networks GeniePoint and Mer, alongside ultra-rapid provider MFG EV Power. All six operators are live on Zap-Pay, with plenty more networks on the way.

How do you enter the Zap-Pay prize draw?

Entry is simple: use Zap-Pay to charge your car. Every instance of a Zap-Pay charge from World EV Day until the end of September will go into a prize draw.

You’ll also need to email [email protected] to let us know you’d like to enter the Zap-Pay prize draw. Please make sure to use the email address you have registered on your Zap-Map account.

The more times you use Zap-Pay to charge from World EV Day until the end of September, the more likely you are to win.

In October, we will randomly select a handful of Zap-Pay charging sessions that took place in the allotted time period – to pull out three lucky winners!

What do you stand to win from the prize draw?

Each of the three winners will enjoy a month’s free charging – on us, and completely free!

And of course, every time you charge up using Zap-Pay from World EV Day until the end of September, the more likely you are to win!

These are the Terms and Conditions. See the image below for a map of Zap-Pay enabled chargers, or you can of course search for them using the ‘Payment’ filter on the Zap-Map app and desktop map.

Over 3,000 Zap-Pay enabled devices stretch from Falmouth in Cornwall to Pitlochry in Perth & Kinross.

What if you’re not a Zap-Pay user?

There’s no need to worry. It’s simple to register. Go into ‘Settings’ in the app, then add your credit or debit card under the section on Zap-Pay.

And don’t forget to email [email protected] to let us know you’d like to enter the Zap-Pay prize draw. (Please use the email address you have registered on your Zap-Map account.)

With that, there’s little more to say other than get out there and get charging! Remember, the more times you use Zap-Pay to charge from World EV Day until the end of September, the more likely you are to win. Good luck!
