The Zap-Map team is back from an inspiring weekend in Farnborough, at the hotly anticipated Fully Charged Live. We’re still buzzing!

Huge thanks go to everyone who came to see us – it was great to speak to so many positive people from our fantastic community of Zap-Map users through to people from all across the electric vehicle and clean tech industry.

What’s more, it was a privilege to explore so much weird and wonderful tech, check out the latest green vehicles, and hear the newest concepts and ideas. The three-day event showcased a whole host of exhibits and attractions, including a Home Energy Advice Hub, over 100 electrified vehicles of all shapes and sizes, and heaps of electric vehicle related technologies. We can’t wait for the next one!

Zap-Map attended in force across all three days, showcasing Zap-Map Premium, cross-network payment service Zap-Pay, and Zap-Map’s partnership with Allstar.

As well as a giant phone to display the capabilities of the Zap-Map app, visitors to the stand were also greeted by an EV charging bollard kindly provided by Zap-Pay partner char.gy. The bollard, which was added temporarily to Zap-Map at Farnborough International for the purposes of the weekend, was used to demonstrate Zap-Pay, the simple way to pay for EV charging across networks from within the Zap-Map app.

Even better, those attending the Giga Theatre on the Friday morning were able to catch Zap-Map Co-founder & COO Melanie Shufflebotham taking part in a discussion with Fully Charge host Jack Scarlett. Together, with panellists from Plug Life Consulting, Octopus and Onto, Shufflebotham went about ‘Separating EV fact from fiction’, busting myths on topics as diverse as EV range, charging devices and battery manufacturing.

Fully Charged was once again an inspirational event. It was great to speak to so many of you, and it goes without saying that as always we loved hearing your feedback on the app. We look forward to seeing you there next year!
