Tork Motors has finally started the deliveries of the Kratos and Kratos-R electric bikes. Initially, the company has delivered 20 bikes to its customers in Pune. Earlier, the company had announced it will deliver the Kratos and Kratos-R e motorcycles in April 2022. Owing to the rising input costs and other supply shortages, it extended the delivery timeline.

Tork Kratos and Kratos-R: Powertrain

Offering a claimed range of 120 km, the electric motorcycles generate power from a 4 kWh battery. However, the peak output figure is different on both the models. The Tork Kratos generates a power output of 7.5 kW and torque of 28 Nm that allows it to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 4 seconds. It has a top speed of 100 kmph, states the company.

Speaking of the Kratos-R, it is capable of churning out 9 kW power and 38 Nm torque, and sprints from 0-40 kmph in barely 3.5 seconds. Tork claims that the Kratos-R electric bike offers a top speed of 105 kmph.

The Tork Kratos and Kratos-R get three riding modes, including Eco, City and Sport. According to the riding modes, the electric motorcycle range is rated at 70 km, 100 km and 120 km in a single charge.

Tork Kratos and Kratos-R: Price

The Tork Kratos price in India is Rs 1.08 lakh, while the Kratos-R is available at a price point of Rs 1.23 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom after subsidies). The company is providing a 3-year/40,000 km warranty on the bikes that would be initially available in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai.
